1980s HALSTON Trench sz XS/S

Vibrant tomato red/orange trench by Halston (Three). This seems to be from a short run collection from the early 80s when Halston collaborated with JC Penney to create a line of ‘more affordable’ pieces; however, coats from this line still retailed between $200 – $400, so ‘affordability’ was very relative.
A super striking piece in color & shape, it’s lightweight with an orange lining. A-line, mod shape & dramatic collar had me thinking it was earlier than 80s at first. Attached belt (there are no other closures), and hip pockets. Very good condition save some slight discoloration on inside of neck (see final photo). Coat has been laundered.
